THANKSGIVING INVITES

the squash are ready, apples ripe, the leaves are changing and that cold (but cozy and still a little warm) snap is in the air. LOVE IT. fall is here, my NYC life is winding down and i cant wait for a few months to enjoy the similar points of life; cooking, gardening and creating.

yesterday i decided my newest design hero is dana tanamachi. she is an absolutely amazing graphic designer who followed her talents and now does kick-ass typographic chalk signs and labels all over brookyln. her work is so totally dead on with the trend im seeing everywhere of super old 1800's inspiration fused with handmade.

inspired by some of her work, i created my family thanksgiving invite. literally inspired, her work held my hand as i did a hand drawn, typographic invite.
